Manchester City return to European action on Tuesday evening as they face Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in matchday seven of the UEFA Champions League group phase.
Pep Guardiola’s side are looking to bounce back immediately following a disappointing 2-0 defeat in the Manchester derby at Old Trafford on Saturday.
With the new Champions League group-stage format reaching its business end, City currently sit in fourth place and know that a victory at the Aspmyra Stadion would all but secure an automatic spot in the Round of 16.
However, the Blues face a significant selection headache. Guardiola has travelled with a heavily depleted squad, missing several key first-team regulars through injury and suspension.
Bernardo Silva is unavailable as he serves a one-match ban for yellow card accumulation, while the medical room remains busy with the likes of Ruben Dias, John Stones, Josko Gvardiol, and Mateo Kovacic all sidelined.
New January signings Marc Guehi and Antoine Semenyo are also ineligible to feature as they cannot be registered for the group-stage phase of the competition, with the former expected to make his Manchester City debut against Wolves in the Premier League this weekend.
In a boost for the visitors, Phil Foden has travelled and is expected to play with a protective guard after fracturing a bone in his hand against Manchester United.
Bodo/Glimt, meanwhile, find themselves in 32nd place and desperate for points to keep their hopes of a play-off spot alive.
Ahead of Tuesday’s 17:45 UK kick-off in Norway, here are the confirmed lineups from both dressing rooms:
Starting XI: Høgh, Hauge, Blomberg, Brunstad Fet, Evjen, Berg, Bjørkan, Gundersen, Bjørtuft, Sjøvold, Haikin
Substitutes: Faye Lund, Sjong, Nielsen, Aleesami, Bech Riisnæs, Dybvik Määttä, Klynge, Saltnes, Auklend, Helmersen
