Crystal Palace and Manchester City go head-to-head for the most prestigious cup competition in English football on Saturday afternoon at Wembley Stadium.

It is the third successive appearance at this stage of the competition for Pep Guardiola and his players as they look to make up for their defeat to Manchester United in the 2024 edition of the final last campaign.

The last outing was far from ideal preparation for the club however, as an already-relegated Southampton side frustrated City on the south coast to take two precious points away from Guardiola’s men in their chase of a top-five finish this season.

While an FA Cup triumph would no doubt be a reason for celebration, Manchester City will have little time to party and reflect on their success as they return to action as soon as Tuesday night with their final home game of the Premier League campaign against Bournemouth.

As for Crystal Palace, Oliver Glasner’s players have picked up a number of strong results in their unbeaten streak that dates back to mid-April, defeating Aston Villa in the FA Cup semi-final, while recording a 0-2 win at Tottenham and 2-2 draw at Arsenal in the Premier League.

John Stones is the only name for Manchester City that remains entirely sidelined, although Guardiola was deemed unlikely to risk either Rodri or Oscar Bobb coming into the match as both players work cautiously towards full fitness after long-term issues.

Ahead of kick-off at Wembley Stadium, here is how both Oliver Glasner and Pep Guardiola have lined up their respective Crystal Palace and Manchester City sides in FA Cup Final action!
