Liverpool are facing transfer uncertainty over several of their current players ahead of the transfer window opening. We could see big changes in the forward department in particular, with Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez earmarked for the exit.
Some wingers could leave too - with bids expected for Ben Doak and Federico Chiesa. The club also have an issue to resolve over Luis Diaz - with the Colombian winger out of contract in 2027.

No agreement has yet been reached in talks over a new deal with the 28-year-old seeking a significant pay rise. Diaz is earning around £55,000 per week - but is reported to be seeking around £140k to £150k to renew.
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes so far hasn’t blinked in the face of those demands. And with time ticking down on his current deal, Diaz could be sold in order to safeguard against losing him on a free.
The most likely destination for the winger is Barcelona - although it would take a sizeable financial sacrifice on the part of the Spanish champions to make that happen.
Nonetheless Diaz is seen as the dream target of sporting director Deco, who wants to upgrade his club’s left-wing options. Liverpool are seeking a reported €80m for Diaz - and if they receive a bid of that magnitude then they could be tempted to cash in.
And now we have an indication on where Diaz’s mind is. His father Luis Manuel Diaz gave an interview to Win Sports in Colombia, revealing that his son’s dream is to play for Barcelona.

"It's true that Luis is a loyal Barcelona fan and that it would be his dream if he joined Barcelona,” he said.
“But, up until now, I want to thank Porto and Liverpool for the way they welcomed Luis and the way they received him.
“He's a player who finds it easy to win things because of his personality, his humility, and his hard work. He gives his all; he's a very disciplined player, thank God."
Liverpool are in the running for Florian Wirtz while strikers in the form of Julian Alvarez and Hugo Ekitike have also been linked. If Diaz is sold for a decent sum this summer, it would top up the Reds’ summer transfer funds and facilitate high-quality incomings.
