Real Madrid have secured the future of one of the most highly rated prospects in their academy, with 15-year-old defender Noah Corona Martinez signing a new contract at the club.
Born in Madrid in 2011, Noah is regarded as one of the standout defensive talents coming through La Fabrica. And the Merengues have acted swiftly to secure his immediate future.
As confirmed by AS, coaches at Valdebebas view him as one of the academy’s strongest one-on-one defenders, with some considering him the best duel-winner across the entire youth system.
Primarily a centre-back, Noah is valued for his versatility and can also play on either flank. His biggest strengths are his physicality, defensive aggression and ability to defend large spaces, qualities that are increasingly important in the modern game.
Coaches are particularly impressed by his comfort defending in open areas and his ability to recover quickly when the defensive line is pushed high.
On the ball, he is equally promising. Noah possesses good distribution skills and the confidence to build attacks from the back, making him a modern defensive prospect with a well-rounded profile.
His progress has already attracted attention from the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), which has included him in several youth national team preliminary squads.
His arrival at Real Madrid also carried significance as Noah was one of the first academy players recruited from Atletico Madrid in 2023 after the long-standing informal non-aggression pact between the two clubs began to break down, following the case of Jesus Fortea.
Off the pitch, Noah has an unusual background. Before fully committing to football, he practised martial arts and became Spanish Kenpo Karate champion at the age of 12.
He is also fluent in both German and English, a rare trait for a player of his age and one reason why some within the club draw comparisons with Antonio Rudiger.
By extending Noah’s contract, Real Madrid have reinforced their commitment to one of the academy’s most promising defensive prospects and a player many believe could have a significant future at the club.
