Nico Paz has enjoyed a successful 18-month stint since leaving Real Madrid for Como 1907 in the summer of 2024.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has thrived under Cesc Fabregas’ guidance in Italy, racking up 11 goals and 14 assists from 51 appearances.
Real Madrid are very pleased with their former academy graduate’s development, while several top clubs across Europe have also taken note of his progress.
Given his development, Real Madrid have decided to bring Nico Paz back in June and have no intention of selling him on for a profit later, reports AS.
Indeed, as per the report, everything indicates that the Argentine playmaker is in the final stretch of his stint in Italy, with a return home in the summer on the cards.
Over the next six months, the youngster will push hard and give his everything at Como, not only to help his team push for European football, but also maintain the satisfaction at Real Madrid over his outstanding progress.

In addition to that, Nico also has a personal objective he intends to achieve – to secure a spot in the Argentina national team squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
That push to secure a place at the World Cup is expected to further accelerate his already impressive development. This is the belief at the highest levels of Real Madrid.
Within Real Madrid, it is clear that they hold all the cards. Como made an attempt to retain him, but will not raise objections, as they were fully aware of the conditions when the transfer was agreed.
While Nico continues to attract strong interest, most recently from Manchester United, there is no intention to sell him on from Real Madrid’s part, despite his very high market value.
Real Madrid are fully aware of the kind of diamond they have in their hands. They want Nico to come back and complete his development at the Santiago Bernabeu, particularly given the team’s evident need for a creator in midfield this season.
