The winner of Real Madrid’s Player of the Month prize for October has on Tuesday been announced.

The Blancos star to have emerged triumphant? Vinícius Jr.

Despite the collective struggles of Carlo Ancelotti’s Real, wide-man Vinícius for his part enjoyed a solid go of things last month.

All told, the Brazilian international featured from the off in all five of the European champions’ fixtures across all competitions.

And, along the way, Vinícius racked up five goals, the highlight of which came on October 22nd, when the 24-year-old inspired a comeback downing of Borussia Dortmund courtesy of a brilliant hat-trick.

Fresh off being overlooked for the Ballon d’Or, the Real Madrid faithful, in turn, have this week moved to make clear their appreciation for Vinícius’ ongoing excellence.

As confirmed across social media on Tuesday, the explosive winger has beaten out the competition, to secure the prize for Blancos Player of the Month:
