Should Barcelona fail to agree a deal with Manchester United to retain Marcus Rashford beyond the summer, he is poised to have two options to revive his Premier League career.
Indeed, both Aston Villa (Mundo Deportivo) and Tottenham Hotspur (Sport) have added the on-loan Red to their shortlists, though the latter’s potential pursuit would, of course, depend on them staying in the top flight.

It remains to be seen if either would appeal to Rashford, who already spent the second half of last season at Villa Park.

Unai Emery is said to be spearheading his side’s interest, which doesn’t really come as a surprise, given how well the forward performed in his brief spell.
Rashford’s record in all competitions for Villa
Villa are also preparing to facilitate the departure of Morgan Rogers in the coming months. He has been linked with United on numerous occasions as of late, so there could well be an opportunity to involve the players in a deal.
As for Spurs, you’d imagine they’re viewed as a considerably less likely suitor in Rashford’s eyes.
Even if they manage to avoid relegation, it goes without saying that drastic changes are needed in North London, and their lack of European action will be a major deterrent for their targets.
For now, the 28-year-old’s priority is to continue with Barcelona into 2026/2027. However, the Catalan giants are trying to lowball United in negotiations, and are unwilling to shell out Rashford’s £26 million buy option upfront.
