Liverpool continued their winning run in the Premier League as they beat Bournemouth 2-0 in their recent most game. Their next game is against Tottenham Hotspur in the second leg of the semi-final round of the EFL Cup.
Spurs are leading the two-tier tie with a goal lead, which means Arne Slot’s men have to come hard if they wish to qualify for the next round. With the support of the home fans at Anfield, the Reds can surely bring a positive result .
Defence
Alisson Becker had a brilliant game against Bournemouth and he will try to repeat his heroics again this weekend. Trent Alexander-Arnold suffered a blow to a muscle and is unlikely to feature in this fixture.
Conor Bradley should be taking his spot as the right-back while Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk form the heart of the defence. No change at the left-back position as Andrew Robertson continues to play there.

Midfield
Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch are the holding midfielders and will be responsible for controlling the tempo of the game.
Dominik Szoboszlai is again deployed as the attacking midfielder in the lineup.
Attack
Mohamed Salah continues to operate on the right flank with Cody Gakpo running on the other side of the pitch. However, Arne Slot might prefer a rotation at the striker role with Diogo Jota coming in place of Luiz Diaz.
The Reds have only one injury in the form Joe Gomez, who is just one or two weeks away from returning a hamstring injury.
