Liverpool are looking to kick off 2026 with a win as they welcome Leeds United to Anfield on Thursday evening.

The Reds have been building momentum over the past few weeks, and academy graduate Conor Bradley has called on his teammates to carry their newfound form into the new year.

After hitting record-breaking lows between late September and November, Liverpool have finally turned a corner over the past few months.

The Reds claimed a 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield over the weekend.

That was their third Premier League win in a row, and fourth across all competitions – a run that started with a 1-0 Champions League success over Inter Milan at San Siro Stadium.

Thursday’s game against Leeds gives Liverpool a chance to record five wins in a row across all competitions, a record they last achieved in the opening weeks of the campaign.

Bradley believes there’s still plenty to come from Liverpool and has called on his teammates to keep building momentum heading into 2026.

“It feels like we’re in a really good moment at the minute,” Bradley told Liverpoolfc.com. “Obviously we’ve had some really good results recently, so we’ve just got to keep that up.

“We’ve got another tough game coming up now with Leeds. We’ve just got to keep trying to build this momentum and keep it going.

“I think we’ve had some really good results recently, but I think the performances can definitely still get better.

“That’s something we’ve got to strive to do, and hopefully we can do that in the upcoming games.”

Bradley has been open about the positive mood within the camp. Results have been encouraging, but the young full-back believes Liverpool are still building towards their best level.

The Reds haven’t tasted defeat since their humiliation ritual in the Champions League when they lost 4-1 to Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven in late November.

Liverpool have gone seven games unbeaten in all competitions since then, winning five and drawing twice, although one of those stalemates came in a six-goal thriller against Leeds at Elland Road.
