West Ham announced on Wednesday the signing of Constance Picaud from Fleury 91. The club said in a statement that the France international goalkeeper, 27, has agreed a deal running to 2029 and will join the Women’s Super League next season.
France’s second-choice keeper has 14 caps and leaves the Arkema Première Ligue after two seasons with the Essonne club.
She previously played for Le Havre from 2019 to 2021 and PSG from 2021 to 2024.
At Fleury, she kept 19 clean sheets in 40 appearances, while the team finished fifth in the league in both campaigns.
Born in Challans, Vendée, Picaud called playing abroad a long-held dream, views the WSL as one of the world’s best leagues, and is excited to live in London and discover a new country.
