A contentious VAR decision denied Paris FC a two-goal cushion at Nantes in Ligue 1. According to L'Équipe, Alimami Gory’s early strike was chalked off for a marginal foul in the build-up.

Paris FC had gone 1-0 up through Ilan Kebbal in the sixth minute. In the eighth, Gory found the net past Anthony Lopes, but referee Benoît Millot ruled it out after a VAR review.

Millot penalised Jean-Philippe Krasso for a foul on Ibrahima Sissoko. The contact appeared to come from the Nantes player, making the call contentious.

Paris coach Stéphane Gilli reacted angrily and was shown a yellow card. The decision kept the Canaris within reach.

The incident came during matchday 18, with Nantes already trailing when the controversy unfolded.
