10 Teams Play in the Fourth Round of the Copa do Brasil This Tuesday (17th)

Another edition of the Copa do Brasil is in full swing. This Tuesday (17th), ten teams kick off the fourth round of the national knockout stage. The matches are single-leg, with penalties in case of a draw.

7 PM – Nova Iguaçu vs. Fortaleza (SporTV and Premiere)
7:30 PM – São Bernardo vs. Ceará (Amazon Prime)
9:30 PM – Sport vs. Athletic (SporTV and Premiere)
9:30 PM – Londrina vs. Operário-PR (Amazon Prime)
9:30 PM – Portuguesa vs. Paysandu (SporTV, Premiere, and GeTV) *All times in Brasília time

WHEN DOES FLAMENGO DEBUT IN THE COPA DO BRASIL?

With a spot secured in the Copa do Brasil after winning the Brasileirão 2025, Flamengo begins its journey in the competition in the fifth round. Thus, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) plans to hold this stage of the tournament between April and May.

DOES THE COPA DO BRASIL HAVE A NEW REGULATION?

In this edition, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) increased the number of participants in the Copa do Brasil from 92 to 126 clubs. Therefore, clubs play the first four rounds in a single match, while from the fifth round onwards, the matches are played home and away. Additionally, the final will be held in a single match, scheduled for December 6th.
