Corinthians and Vasco agree on away tickets for Copa do Brasil clash

This Monday (15th), Corinthians and Vasco reached an agreement regarding the ticket allocation in the visitor sections for the final of the Copa do Brasil. The first leg takes place this Wednesday (17th) at 9:30 PM (Brasília time) and the second leg on the following Sunday (21st) at 6:30 PM, at the Maracanã Stadium.

According to information from Meu Timão, Vasco da Gama fans will have access to about 2,600 tickets to watch the first match at the Neo Química Arena. Corinthians fans, on the other hand, will have access to 4,000 tickets. Additionally, according to the report, the ticket allocation for Vasco fans corresponds to 5.4% of the Arena's capacity, while 5.1% of the Maracanã's capacity tickets were allocated to the Alvinegro.

In the current edition of the Copa do Brasil, Corinthians eliminated: Novorizontino (third phase), Palmeiras (round of 16), Athletico-PR (quarter-finals), and Cruzeiro (semi-final), scoring 10 goals and conceding only two. Additionally, there are seven victories and only one defeat.

Corinthians is seeking its fourth Copa do Brasil title, 16 years after its last tournament victory (1995, 2002, and 2009). Since then, the Alvinegro has been runner-up twice (2018 and 2022) and semi-finalist twice (2023 and 2024). In the current season, the Alvinegro won both matches against Vasco, both in the Brasileirão: 3 x 0 in the first round (at home) and 3 x 2 in São Januário (away).
