Kaio had been out since five February with a right hamstring injury. Matheus Pereira also returns after a grade 2 left biceps femoris problem on 19 February against Athletico Paranaense.

Yuri Alberto says he should only return next week as he recovers from a grade 2 left biceps femoris injury, and could face Chapecoense on Thursday.

Labyad and centre-back João Pedro Tchoca are not with the group. Felipe Longo, right elbow ligament sprain, and Hugo Farias, lateral meniscus surgery in the right knee, remain sidelined.

Corinthians are aiming to halt a four-game run without a win after draws with Cruzeiro 1-1 and Portuguesa 1-1, and defeats to Novorizontino 1-0 and Coritiba 2-0. They are 10th on seven points, with Santos 14th on five.

Squad: goalkeepers Hugo Souza, Kauê and Matheus Corrêa, and full-backs Fabrizio Angileri, Matheus Bidu, Matheuzinho and Pedro Milans.

Centre-backs are André Ramalho, Gabriel Paulista and Gustavo Henrique, and midfielders are Allan, André Carrillo, André Luiz, Breno Bidon, Charles, Dieguinho, Matheus Pereira, Raniele and Rodrigo Garro.

Forwards are Gui Negão, Kaio César, Kayke, Memphis Depay, Pedro Raul and Vitinho.
