Corinthians began their final week of training for the Dérbi in the third round of the Brasileirão Feminino, with Palmeiras to come on Friday at 21:30 at Arena Barueri.
According to Meu Timao, Monday started with gym-based physical work at the training centre, followed by an on-pitch session focused on attacking play. The day finished with a video review led by the performance analysis unit.
Head coach Emily Lima will have the rest of the squad available over the week, with 10 players having been on international duty and all in action on Saturday. They did not take to the pitch on Monday.
Those involved were Lelê, Thais Ferreira, Tamires, Ana Vitória, Duda Sampaio, Gabi Zanotti and Jaqueline for Brazil, Dayana Rodríguez for Venezuela, Belén Aquino for Uruguay, and Gisela Robledo for Colombia.
Agustina Barroso, rehabbing a left leg muscle injury, and Thaís Regina, recovering from surgery after a fracture of the left fibula, remain sidelined.
Corinthians are looking to respond after the draw with Fluminense at Neo Química Arena, which led to the dismissal of head coach Lucas Piccinato. They sit fifth with four points.
