According to Meu Timao, Corinthians carried out a preventive operation before last Sunday’s Dérbi to curb fraud and touting in Fiel Torcedor sales. About 500 tickets were blocked and access to the match was denied.
The move followed data analysis and cross-checks that flagged irregularities in purchases. Most were in the South and East sections of Neo Química Arena.
Three illegal sellers were detained near the stadium and taken to Drade, Delegacia de Polícia de Repressão aos Delitos de Intolerância Esportiva.
The club maintains a commitment to transparent ticketing, to tackling illicit practices and to protecting supporters’ rights.
In July 2025, the club introduced facial recognition at Neo Química Arena to reduce illegal activity. Less than two months later, touts found a way to bypass the system.
In March, a former Corinthians employee made a series of allegations about touting around the team’s matches and the Fiel Torcedor programme, documenting the route taken by illegally sold tickets.
