Seven Corinthians players have reported to Brazil women's national team training in Itu, São Paulo state, checking in on Sunday at the Oito Hotel. The squad will be based there until Saturday 20.
According to Meu Timao, the Corinthians contingent comprises goalkeepers Nicole Ramos and Ana Morganti, right-back Ivana Fuso, midfielders Andressa Alves and Ana Vitória, and forwards Jaqueline and Jhonson. In total, 29 players were called up by head coach Arthur Elias for this preparation block.
Former Corinthians striker Jheniffer was included initially, then withdrawn as she continues recovery from a left plantar fascia injury. Elias said the camp had been long planned around the World Cup break and that extra time together, assessment and training is valuable for those pushing for the 2027 Women's World Cup.
While the call-ups work in Itu, the remainder of the Corinthians squad remain on holiday. They are due back on 25 to begin a mid-season camp at the training centre, targeting the run-in of the Campeonato Brasileiro, the continuation of the Paulista and Copa do Brasil, and the start of the Libertadores.
After the pause, the Brabas are set to return in the second half of July. Their first fixture is against Ferroviária on 17 July at 19:00 at Fazendinha, in the fourth round of the Campeonato Paulista.
