Corinthians could receive US$ 2.3m if they win Copa das Campeãs | OneFootball

FIFA confirmed that champions of the inaugural Copa das Campeãs will receive US$ 2.3 million, so Corinthians would bank that amount if they take the title.

Corinthians open on Wednesday 28 January against Gotham FC of the United States in the semi-final in London.

The runners-up will collect US$ 1 million, and the two teams beaten in the semi-finals will each receive US$ 200,000.

Auckland United FC of New Zealand and Wuhan Chegu Jiangda WFC of China, eliminated in the first and second rounds, will get US$ 100,000 each.

Arsenal and AS FAR are on the other side of the bracket. The final and third-place play-off are scheduled for 1 February.

Corinthians have been preparing in London since Thursday. The squad remains incomplete, with Venezuelan Day Rodríguez and Colombians Paola García and Gisela Robledo registered but still in São Paulo awaiting travel documentation.
