Forward Caroline Nogueira posted on Instagram about turning setbacks into comebacks, offering gratitude for lessons learned, hard-earned achievements and those who believed, saying football is about falling, getting up and focusing on the next objective.

The Fifa Copa das Campeãs marks a historic step for the women’s game and carries record prize money, with the champions earning US$ 2.3 million (R$ 12.1 million), the runners-up US$ 1 million (R$ 5.2 million) and semi-finalists US$ 200,000 (R$ 1 million).

The Brabas are training at Barnet FC until 28, then face Gotham FC of the United States in a single semi-final at the Gtech Community Stadium at 9.30am Brasília time. Arsenal meet AS FAR in the other semi-final the same day. The final and third-place play-off are scheduled for the first of February.
