Corinthians duo named among top under-23 players in the Brasileirão

Despite the poor campaign in the Brasileirão, the youth categories have been more utilized by Corinthians in the championship. Besides Dieguinho, André, and Gui Negão, who debuted this year, the duo João Pedro Tchoca and Breno Bidon have established themselves as important pieces in the squad.

According to a ranking prepared by the CIES Football Observatory, the duo was among the top ten under-23 athletes in the 2025 Brazilian Championship. The midfielder appears higher, in eighth position, with an average rating of 76.2. Further down, the defender is tenth, with a score of 75.3.

Another "Son of Terrão" appears in the ranking, but playing for another club. The defender Robert Renan, revealed in Corinthians' youth categories and a starter in the position at the end of 2022, was the third-best young player in 2025, with an average rating of 79.7 for his performances at Vasco da Gama.

The ranking released by CIES does not specify the methods of player analysis, only the criteria used: athletes aged 23 or under, who played at least 900 minutes in the last edition of the Brasileirão. Additionally, the metric goes up to 100.
