Corinthians completed their ninth straight day of inter-season work on Friday, closing a double session with combative drills and strength training.

According to Meu Timao, the squad worked at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava with a programme aimed at sharpening physical and technical levels for the second half, when they will compete in the Brasileirão, Copa do Brasil and the Libertadores.

The morning started in the gym with muscle-strengthening exercises. Out on the pitch, they warmed up then moved into three-on-three transition work that stressed finishing and decision-making in attack and defence.

Next, coach Fernando Diniz split the group into four teams of six for small-sided contests on a reduced pitch, with emphasis on intensity and individual duels.

In the afternoon they returned to the gym for another block of strength work. Training resumes on Saturday, marking the 10th day in a row.

Corinthians are scheduled to play again on Sunday, 12 July at 16:00, facing FC Cascavel in a friendly at Estádio Olímpico Regional in Paraná's interior.
