According to Meu Timao, a supporters' poll has delivered a clear verdict against renewing forward Carol Nogueira's contract for 2027, with 88.5% voting no and 11.5% in favour.
She is not the first Brabas player to face fan opposition, with centre-back Agustina and forward Ariel Godoi also opposed to extensions. All three have deals running to 31 December 2026.
By contrast, 17-year-old goalkeeper Ana Morganti received strong backing, with more than 80% supporting a renewal. Further polls will address Lelê, Thaís Regina and Vic Albuquerque.
Nogueira joined Corinthians at the end of 2022 under coach Arthur Elias. She has made 69 appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 12 assists.
This year has been difficult. Of the 21 matches the Brabas have played in 2026, she featured in six, coming off the bench five times. She missed August 2025 to March 2026 for personal reasons, then was ruled out again with a left rectus femoris injury diagnosed in April.
Budget pressures may also count against any extension, with the club cautious over renewals. The current priority is talks with forward Gisela Robledo, whose contract expires in August.
