Corinthians fans gathered in Miami during the 2026 World Cup, celebrating with terrace drums and a packed turnout. According to Meu Timao, the event brought together members from several of the club’s organised groups.
Representatives attended from Gaviões da Fiel, Camisa 12, Estopim, Fiel Macabra, Pavilhão Nove, Fiel Florida and Fiel Jardim Brasil.
In the wider movement, almost 40 organised groups from different Brazilian clubs are in the United States to back the Seleção. Their integration is coordinated by Movimento Verde e Amarelo, which stages meet-ups, promotes exchange of experiences and upholds a code of ethics.
According to the movement, this is the first time Brazilian fans will have access to Fifa’s popular tickets, sold at $60, around R$ 300. Participants cover their own travel, accommodation and food.
“It was necessary to show the importance of being in the same alignment in support of the Seleção. Everyone understood that, at this moment, the team needs everyone united in pursuit of the sixth star,” said Fernando Pixote. He told Correio.
The Movimento Verde e Amarelo plans to continue beyond 2026, aiming to keep organised groups mobilised for other sports and future tournaments, including the 2027 Women’s World Cup in eight Brazilian host cities.
While part of the Fiel follows the national team in the United States, Corinthians continue preparations to resume play. Fernando Diniz’s side are due to face FC Cascavel in a friendly on 12 July at Estádio Olímpico Regional in Cascavel, Paraná, with kick-off time to be confirmed.
