Corinthians Futsal announce second signing for the 2026 season

Early Wednesday afternoon (11th), Corinthians announced the arrival of the second signing for the futsal team, looking ahead to the 2026 season, which will feature the following competitions: Supercopa Gramado, National League, and Paulista Championship. The player is Kevin William, a 23-year-old winger who played for Ferroviária Pinda.

The young player arrives to strengthen a weak sector in the squad managed by coach Fernando Malafaia, especially after the departures of Edimar, Igor Carioca, and Luizinho Brizzi, whose contracts were not renewed at the end of the last season. In addition to him, the Alvinegro had also announced the arrival of pivot Fabinho, 37, last Tuesday (10th).

Kevin, as mentioned, played for Ferroviária Pinda and faced Corinthians in the semifinals of the Paulista Championship of the modality. In the state championship, he scored nine goals in 16 games last year. He also won the 2025 Paulista Futsal League Cup against Barão de Mauã in the final. Previously, he played for Inter Mogi, where he was named the best player of the 2023 LPF Sub-20 edition.

For 2026, the department of the Alvinegro modality is undergoing budget cuts and is expected to rely on athletes from its youth categories. Besides the departures of Igor Carioca, Luizinho Brizzi, Luisinho, and Edimar, already mentioned, the club also saw the exit of pivots Deives (retirement) and Israel Beto, and the fix Marlon.
