Corinthians have 8 players in Brazil women's national squad

The coach of the Brazilian women's national team, Arthur Elias, announced the call-ups for the friendlies against Costa Rica, Venezuela, and Mexico, with several players from Corinthians' Brabas included in the list.

Lelê, Thais Ferreira, Tamires, Gi Fernandes, Ana Vitória, Duda Sampaio, and Gabi Zanotti were called for the first FIFA Date of the 2026 season, aiming to prepare for the 2027 Women's World Cup, which will be held in Brazil.

In addition to the players from the current squad, Arthur Elias also called up several players with a history at Timão, who were even coached by him when he managed the team, including Tarciane, Mariza, Yasmim, Isabela, Luana Bertolucci, Kerolin, Jheniffer, and Geyse.

The Corinthians players called up for this FIFA Date will not be a setback for coach Lucas Piccinato, as the last game before the period will be on the 20th, against Fluminense at the Neo Química Arena, while the first match of the Brazilian team against Costa Rica will only be on the 27th. Upon returning, the players will have at least six days of training after coming back and are expected to play normally on March 13th, in a new Derby against Palmeiras.
