Corinthians’ internal probe into missing kit escalated on Tuesday as Justice Commission hearings sparked friction between council chief Romeu Tuma Júnior and club president Osmar Stabile, according to Meu Timao.
Administrative manager Rafael Salomão and administrative director Fábio Soares gave testimony as planned. CT employee Francisco Vinícius Godoy did not attend despite a formal summons.
The president is said to have blocked Godoy’s participation. He then entered the room unannounced at Parque São Jorge, a brief exchange ended with an apology and his exit.
Stabile is understood to have argued the football department is under his remit and he would not release staff without prior clearance. He later authorised the employee’s hearing on Wednesday, raising concern over the worker’s exposure.
On 3 November 2025, technology director Marcelo Munhoes delivered a 94-page audit to Stabile on missing kits and equipment. It outlined weak controls over Nike-supplied stock and recommended improvements at the CT and Parque São Jorge.
Findings included unnecessary licensed purchases, deteriorated items, diversion and sale of pieces, poor storage hygiene, and inflated withdrawal requests by second vice president Armando Mendonça, other directors and Stabile.
The report also noted there has been no formal inventory since September 2021, contributing to planning failures. Despite requesting more than 17,000 Nike items early in the year, the club lacked home shirts for the September match against Fluminense.
Armando later served extrajudicial notice on Munhoes over the references. He denied any diversion, pledged to cooperate with the inquiry, and posted storeroom photos in his defence.
