After completing morning preparations at CT Joaquim Grava, the team travelled and checked into their hotel. According to Meu Timao, the travelling party comprised Hugo Souza, Kauê, Matheus Corrêa, André Ramalho, João Pedro, Gustavo Henrique, Matheus Bidu, Matheuzinho, Pedro Milans, Fabrizio Angileri, Allan, André Luiz, Breno Bidon, Charles, Dieguinho, Matheus Pereira, Raniele, Rodrigo Garro, Zakaria Labyad, Gui Negão, Kayke, Pedro Raul, Vitinho and Yuri Alberto.
The headline inclusion is the return of Yuri Alberto after more than a month out, his last outing came in the 1-0 win over São Bernardo in the final round of the first phase of the Paulistão. Midfielder Zakaria Labyad is also back after missing the Santos match on Sunday.
Centre-back Gabriel Paulista, midfielder André Carrillo and forwards Memphis Depay and Kaio César were rested for the Flamengo game on Sunday and did not travel. Goalkeeper Felipe Longo and left-back Hugo Farias remain in the treatment room.
Corinthians visit Chapecó for the first time in almost five years, their last trip ended in a 1-0 victory sealed by Jô. They have won seven of nine matches at Arena Condá, losing twice.
Dorival Júnior’s side are seeking to stop a run of five games without a win, their longest since he arrived. They sit eighth on eight points, with Chapecoense 12th on six.
