Corinthians launch Jesse Lingard souvenir cup for Flamengo match | OneFootball

According to Meu Timao, Corinthians will sell a Jesse Lingard souvenir cup to supporters inside Neo Química Arena on Sunday. The game against Flamengo kicks off at 20:30 in the eighth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

The black and white cup features a drawing of the Englishman’s trademark celebration, both hands before his face forming the initials JL. It also carries the Corinthians crest, his name and the number 77, the shirt he will wear. Each cup is priced at R$25.

Lingard will not be eligible to face Flamengo. His work visa has not yet been regularised and he has not been registered with the CBF, so he cannot make his debut.

The team had planned for him to be available for this fixture but now has a new timeline. The current expectation is that he could make his debut after the FIFA international break, on Wednesday, one April, against Fluminense at the Maracanã.

That date would also mark one month since his official announcement by Parque São Jorge.
