Corinthians loanee Ryan scores first Fortaleza goal in 2-1 win over Juventude | OneFootball

Ryan marked his first goal of the season for Fortaleza, helping the side beat Juventude 2-1 on Saturday in the third round of Serie B. According to Meu Timao, the 22-year-old is on loan from Corinthians until December with an option to buy.

The midfielder struck at 46 minutes of the first half after Juventude surrendered possession when Raí Ramos lost the ball. He controlled, drove into the box, went past Messias and finished cleanly beyond Jandrei.

Fortaleza announced his arrival on 21 January after agreeing a loan with Corinthians. The move formed part of the arrangement that took fellow midfielder Matheus Pereira to Corinthians, who announced him last Friday on a similar deal.

In March he lifted his first trophy with the club as Fortaleza won the Cearense title, beating Ceará 5-4 on penalties after two 1-1 draws. Ryan did not feature in the final.

Before the move, Ryan made 59 appearances for Corinthians after stepping up to the senior side in 2024, including 22 starts, with one goal and two assists.
