Last weekend, November 22 and 23, the Série B of the Brazilian Championship concluded. In 2025, two athletes developed in the Corinthians youth academy, still under contract with Corinthians, participated in the tournament: right-back Léo Maná and defender Renato, both 21 years old, who had limited playing time for Criciúma and Atlético-GO, respectively.
Loaned to Criciúma, which finished fifth in Série B, he was part of the Santa Catarina team's squad for the last 17 rounds of the national competition and was a starter in only one of them, playing only six times, and was left out of the bench on two occasions. He competes for a position with Marcinho and, at times, was overlooked in favor of midfielder Luiz Henrique in the team led by Eduardo Batista.

His loan with Criciúma is valid until July 31 of next year. In total, out of 1,530 possible minutes in these 17 matches (excluding stoppage time), the young right-back was on the field for only 185 of them, which corresponds to just over 8% of the total playing time.
With a contract valid until December 2029 with Corinthians, Léo Maná has 30 games with the Corinthians main team (18 as a starter), achieving 14 wins, 10 draws, and six losses – nearly 58% success rate, with only one assist during this period. He was part of the state champion squad of 2025, against Palmeiras, in Itaquera.
In the Corinthians youth categories, Léo Maná played 112 matches (for Under-17 and 20), 19 with the older team and 93 with the older team, scoring eight goals. His most important titles were the Under-17 Paulistão in 2021, against Palmeiras, at Allianz Parque, and the 2024 Copinha, against Cruzeiro, in Itaquera, where he was the captain of the Timãozinho in the victory.

Renato – defender
With a contract with Corinthians until 2027, defender Renato was loaned to Atlético-GO until March 2026 at the beginning of the current season. Without space in the main Alvinegro team, he saw an opportunity to gain playing time with the Goiás team. However, since joining the Goiás team, the defender has not played in any matches and was only listed for one game.
The young player was on the bench in the goalless draw at home against Operário on November 15 (Saturday), in the penultimate round of Série B, but did not leave the bench. In the Corinthians youth categories, he was part of the same generation as Léo Maná and won the same titles, being a starter alongside João Pedro Tchoca – now a starter for the professional team – in the 2024 Copinha victory.
Throughout his youth career, he received call-ups for the Brazilian National Team's Under-15 category. For the Under-17 and 20 of Timãozinho, he played 134 times (101 with the older team and 33 with the younger team), scoring 18 goals.
