Corinthians look to repeat form vs Novorizontino in Paulistão

This Saturday (28), Corinthians will head to the Doutor Jorge Ismael de Biasi stadium, known as Jorjão, to face Grêmio Novorizontino at 8:30 PM (Brasília time), in a match valid for the semifinals of the Campeonato Paulista. The Alvinegro Paulista aims to replicate the success of the last two games against the opponent.

The last encounter between the teams took place on May 21, 2025, at the Neo Química Arena for the second leg of the third phase of the Copa do Brasil. On that occasion, Corinthians won 1-0, with a goal scored by Yuri Alberto.

In the first leg of that knockout stage, Timão also came out with a positive result. In a match held on April 30, 2025, at the Doutor Jorge Ismael de Biasi stadium, Corinthians won 1-0, with a goal scored by the Spaniard Héctor Hernández, who is no longer part of the club's squad.
