Corinthians have reached about a month under a FIFA transfer ban tied to the signing of José Martínez, with no definitive resolution yet. The weekend also brought academy progress and off-field attention around Memphis Depay.

According to Meu Timao, Memphis Depay’s World Cup involvement has even drawn interest from the Dutch royal family.

On Wednesday, the women’s Under-20s beat São Bento 3-0 in their Paulista opener, extending the longest unbeaten run in the category’s history. The Under-17s then edged UDA 3-2 in round four of the national league, making it 15 matches without defeat, a category best.

On Saturday, the Under-20s won 2-1 away at Cruzeiro in the Brasileiro Sub-20. Yago Melo scored the second, his first for the club, with the result updating the 2026 scoring chart and delivering a first not seen since the 2024 Copinha triumph. The club later shared behind-the-scenes footage of the victory.

On Sunday morning, the futsal side were beaten 3-2 by Campo Mourão in round nine of the Liga Nacional de Futsal, and remain close to the relegation places.

Corinthians now face Flamengo in the Under-20 league, a direct fight for a knockout place with two games left in the first phase. In the first team, André Luiz and Kaio César are the only duo to have at least five successful dribbles and 10 duels won this season.

Off the pitch, an institution in Atlanta has dedicated space to Democracia Corinthiana in an exhibition on football activism opened during the World Cup. Former futsal fixo Marlon, who featured only from September to December 2025, keeps special memories of his time at Parque São Jorge.
