Morocco face France in the 2026 World Cup quarter-finals on Thursday, having drawn 1-1 with Brazil in the groups and eliminated Memphis Depay’s Netherlands. Corinthians once met Morocco too, losing 1-0 in a 1970 friendly.

According to Meu Timao, Corinthians’ first game against a national side came in 1925 against Brazil at Estádio da Ponte Grande, the club’s first home.
