Corinthians have again delayed salaries, while José Martínez has spoken for the first time since his March departure. The Under-17s also thrashed Grêmio 7-0 to go top.
According to Meu Timao, the club did not pay May wages on time for the first-team players and the coaching staff led by Fernando Diniz, marking a second consecutive month of delays.

On Tuesday, the midfielder addressed the events that led to his contract being terminated, a decision that was made official in early March.
In the academy, Corinthians Under-17s beat Grêmio 7-0 in the third round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-17.
The result put the side top of the national competition.
