According to Globo.com, Corinthians are prioritising the removal of a Fifa transfer ban and aim to raise at least €25 million from player sales in the next window.

The window opens on 20 July. The sanction has been active for almost 50 days. The club are seeking an agreement with Philadelphia Union, from the United States, to settle about US$1.5 million owed for the 2024 signing of José Martínez, the debt that triggered Fifa’s punishment.

Inside the club, outgoing deals are seen as essential to stabilise finances and allow the registration of new players.

The players viewed as most likely to be negotiated are midfielders André and Breno Bidon, and forward Yuri Alberto.

Only after meeting those targets would the board pursue selective reinforcements. In recent days they made an enquiry for midfielder Arthur, owned by Juventus and on loan at Grêmio until last month, but initial talks did not progress due to the 29-year-old’s salary demands.
