Corinthians suffer heaviest Paulistão defeat in 12 years

Corinthians had a below-average performance last Thursday night (15). In Bragança Paulista, Timão was defeated 3-0 by Red Bull Bragantino, marking their worst defeat in 12 years in the Paulistão. The last time Timão suffered a setback by such a large margin was in 2014, against Santos, in the first phase of the competition. On that occasion, the classic ended 5-1 for the coastal club, and later, Corinthians failed to qualify for the knockout stage of the competition.
