Corinthians to be without Ryan for Supercopa meeting with Flamengo | OneFootball

Corinthians will be without midfielder Ryan for their Supercopa do Brasil meeting with Flamengo.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the 22-year-old has agreed terms with Fortaleza and is due for medicals on Thursday 15 before signing a loan running until the end of 2026. He remains under contract with Corinthians until the end of 2028.

The move follows limited opportunities, with the club using him largely from the bench in 2025, so Corinthians chose to sanction a loan move. Fortaleza head coach Thiago Carpini requested his arrival.

Meanwhile, the core of last season’s Copa do Brasil winners remains intact. Dorival Junior has overseen pre-season, and on Saturday 10 his side opened the Paulistão with a 3-0 victory over Ponte Preta.

Flamengo’s senior squad have begun pre-season but are yet to play. The expectation is that Filipe Luís will have a full-strength group from next week’s clássico against Vasco in the Carioca. The match between Flamengo and Corinthians is set for one February at 16:00 Brasília time at Estádio Mané Garrincha in the Distrito Federal.
