Corinthians to face Vasco da Gama in Copa LNF first round | OneFootball

Corinthians will face Vasco da Gama in the first round of the inaugural Copa LNF, with the Rio club to host. The league will confirm the date and kick-off time.

According to Meu Timao, the competition brings together Liga Nacional de Futsal teams and LNF Silver sides in a single-elimination format.

All ties are one-off matches, with LNF Silver clubs at home. There are five knockout rounds in total and the final is a single game at a neutral venue.

LNF Silver is the second tier, which this season will operate with promotion and relegation. Corinthians were runners-up last year after losing to Jaraguá in the final.

Earlier this year, Corinthians exited the Super Copa Gramado in the quarter-finals to Atlântico/Erechim, drawing 2-2 in normal time before losing on penalties.

Corinthians are next on court at the end of the month, opening their LNF campaign against Joinville on 28 March, a Saturday, at 18:30 at Centreventos Cau Hansen.
