Corinthians will open the Brasileirão Feminino behind closed doors, visiting Atlético-MG at Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte on Friday at 21:00, with no supporters allowed.
The decision has been taken due to the city's Carnival. Further details are yet to be confirmed.
Their first home game of 2026 is scheduled for 20, when they host Fluminense at 21:30 in the second round. The venue is still to be decided, with an expectation it will be Neo Química Arena. Fazendinha remains barred for night fixtures.
Corinthians arrive after two runners-up finishes this season. They finished second in London at the Copa das Campeãs, the FIFA Club World Cup, losing to Arsenal.
They were then beaten by Palmeiras on penalties in the Supercopa do Brasil.
In 2025 they claimed two major trophies. They are the reigning Brasileirão champions after defeating Cruzeiro, and also won the Libertadores by beating Deportivo Cali in a final staged in Buenos Aires.
