Corinthians unveil new statutory marketing director, board nearly complete

This Thursday, the 9th, Corinthians released an official statement on their website announcing the appointment of another statutory director under Osmar Stabile's management: Ângelo de Sá Júnior, for the club's marketing department. According to the statement, the appointment aims to “further strengthen the Corinthians brand, expand commercial partnerships, and improve relationships with fans and sponsors.”

Until now, the key figure in the sector was the superintendent Vinicius Azevedo, who had held the position with Augusto Melo, was dismissed, and returned to Parque São Jorge in August this year, invited by Stabile, still as interim president. With Ângelo's arrival, the trend is for Azevedo to remain in the position, working together with the new director.

Ângelo de Sá Júnior attempted to be elected as a councilor in the last alvinegro elections in 2023, but his slate, the União dos Vitalícios, was not successful. In marketing, the professional has worked in various companies, such as WOOH, Editora Três, Editora Abril, Valor Econômico, TV Bandeirantes, and Editora Globo. Currently, he is the commercial vice-president of Grupo Jovem Pan.

With the appointment, only two statutory positions remain vacant in Stabile's management: director of aquatic sports and director of football. In the latter, it is worth noting that the department is currently led by the executive Fabinho Soldado, who is remunerated.
