Corinthians up to fifth after 2-2 with Fluminense in Brasileirão Feminino | OneFootball

Corinthians rose three places to fifth in the Brasileirão Feminino after a 2-2 draw with Fluminense and a favourable set of second round results.

The Brabas were held on Friday at Neo Química Arena, then Monday’s fixtures closed the round: Vitória drew 2-2 with Mixto, Cruzeiro drew 1-1 with Santos and São Paulo beat Bahia 2-1. According to Meu Timao, that combination lifted Corinthians to fifth on four points.

Palmeiras lead with six points and a perfect record, ahead of Flamengo and São Paulo on goal difference. Cruzeiro are fourth on four points, above Corinthians by a single goal.

Corinthians and Cruzeiro have 67% records, the same as Santos and Fluminense, who sit behind on the cards tiebreak.

The top eight advance to the quarter-finals, while the bottom two are relegated to Série A2. The first phase is a single round-robin of 17 rounds.

Home advantage in the knockout stages always goes to the team with the better overall campaign, with that ranking also guiding the draw.

The league grants 2027 Libertadores Feminina places only to the champions and runners-up. If a finalist has already qualified by winning the 2026 edition, as could happen with Corinthians, the berth goes to the third-placed team in the overall standings.

Next up, Corinthians face Palmeiras on 13 March at 21:30 at Arena Barueri. The competition pauses first for the season’s opening FIFA window.
