According to Meu Timao, Corinthians' Cori met without taking up statute reform, while teenager Dieguinho received a Brazil Under-20 call-up.

The Conselho de Orientação did not analyse the new draft to reform the club statute, which was prepared by the responsible commission and forwarded by the president of the Conselho Deliberativo, Romeu Tuma Júnior. It also did not assess the non-binding proposal from SAFiel.

Attacking midfielder Dieguinho has been called up by Brazil Under-20 for friendlies against Bolivia. The 18-year-old will be available to coach Paulo Victor for matches on 9 and 12 August in Rio de Janeiro.

The Superior Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva acquitted Corinthians over the invasion of the Neo Química Arena pitch by two children after the 3-0 win against Remo on 23 July in the Campeonato Brasileiro.

The club was, however, fined R$ 2,000 for a two-minute delay in restarting the match after half-time.
