Corinthians v RB Bragantino: where to watch, team news, line-ups, referee

Corinthians will host, on the night of this Thursday (12th), at 8:00 pm (Brasília time), at Neo Química Arena, in a match valid for the third round of the 2026 Brazilian Championship. So far, the Alvinegro has only played one game, in which they ended up being defeated by Bahia, at Vila Belmiro, on January 28th, by a score of 2-1, coming from behind.

In the season, the Alvinegro is coming off a defeat in the Derby against Palmeiras, last Sunday (8th), also in Itaquera, for the seventh round of the first phase of the 2026 Paulistão. This year, the club from Parque São Jorge has already won the Supercopa do Brasil, by beating Flamengo 2-0 at Estádio Mané Garrincha, in Brasília, on February 1st. Currently, for the year, there are four wins, two draws, and three losses – 12 goals scored and eight conceded.

Probable lineup and absences for Corinthians

The Corinthians coaching staff will have three absences for the match: left-back Hugo Farias (knee surgery, out for four to six months), midfielder José Martínez (knee ligament injury), and forward Kaio César (recovering from a muscle injury). Midfielder André Carrillo, who missed the Derby against Palmeiras in the Paulistão due to discomfort in the adductor muscle of his left leg, is doubtful.

Thus, coach Dorival Júnior should start the match with: Hugo Souza; Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique, and Matheus Bidu; Raniele, Matheus Pereira, André, and Breno Bidon; Memphis Depay and Yuri Alberto.

The only clash between the two teams this season took place in the second round of the first phase of the Paulistão, at Estádio Cícero de Souza Marques, on January 15th. The Alvinegro, with an almost entirely alternative squad, was defeated by a score of 3-0.

Probable lineup and absences for Red Bull Bragantino

Massa Bruta will be without five players for the match: Guzmán Rodríguez (anterior cruciate ligament injury in the left knee), Vanderlan (surgery to correct MAV – Congenital Cerebral Arteriovenous Malformation), Fabricio (right ankle injury), Eduardo Sasha (inflammation in the left Achilles tendon), and Alix Vinicius (right thigh injury).

Thus, according to ge.globo, the team from the interior of São Paulo should line up with: Cleiton; Andres Hurtado, Pedro Henrique, Gustavo Marques, and Juninho Capixaba; Gabriel, Matheus Fernandes, and Gustavo Neves; Lucas Barbosa, Henry Mosquera, and Isidro Pitta.

Refereeing

The referee will be Felipe Fernandes de Lima (MG), assisted by Fabrini Beviláqua Costa (SP) and Joverton Wesley De Souza Lima (RO). The fourth official and the VAR will be, respectively, Bruno Pereira Vasconcelos (BA) and Rafael Traci (SC).

Broadcast

For Corinthians fans who are not at Neo Química Arena, the match can only be watched on Premiere (Grupo Globo's pay-per-view). After the final whistle, Central do Timão will bring a summary of what happened in the 90 minutes, as well as coach Dorival Júnior's press conference and mixed zones with the players.

Next fixture

After facing Red Bull Bragantino, in Itaquera, for the second round of the Brasileirão, Corinthians will turn their focus back to the Paulista Championship. Next Sunday (15th), at 8:30 pm (Brasília time), the Alvinegro will visit São Bernardo FC, at Estádio Primeiro de Maio, ABC Paulista, for the eighth and final round of the first phase of the Paulistão. The Corinthians team is not yet guaranteed a spot in the knockout stage and needs at least a draw to advance.
