Armando Mendonça, Corinthians vice-president, rejoined the travelling party to Porto Alegre after a 30-day leave, representing the board for the match against Internacional.
According to Meu Timao, he arrived alongside players and staff at the team hotel on Saturday, his first trip with the group since resuming duties.
He had been on leave since eight June and officially returned to the role on seven July.
During his absence, a São Paulo court accepted a complaint from the state public prosecutor over Nike-supplied kit management, making him a defendant.
He faces allegations of aggravated continued embezzlement, attempted aggravated continued embezzlement, qualified theft through abuse of trust, and coercion during proceedings.
The complaint alleges he appropriated 131 Nike items, attempted to obtain 19 special shirts carrying an NFL patch, and retained eight from that commemorative run.
It also states he threatened two witnesses. Although the police investigator concluded no crime occurred, prosecutors disagreed and the court accepted the filing. Armando has sought the recusal of Cassio Conserino, a São Paulo state prosecutor.
