Gi Fernandes returned to on-field work as Corinthians’ women intensified preparations for Palmeiras on 13 March in the Brasileiro Feminino third round.

According to Meu Timao, Emily Lima prioritised attacking transitions in Wednesday’s morning session, increasing the tempo across the group. The one-hour workout concluded with set-piece practice.

The full-back is returning from a left rectus femoris strain, and the club shared video of her involvement on social media. Despite her return, Lima is without 12 players, with 10 on international duty during the FIFA window.

Those called up are Lelê, Thais Ferreira, Tamires, Ana Vitória, Duda Sampaio, Gabi Zanotti and Jaqueline for Brazil, Dayana Rodríguez for Venezuela, Belén Aquino for Uruguay, and Gisela Robledo for Colombia.

Agustina Barroso remains in rehabilitation for a left-leg muscle injury, while Thaís Regina continues recovery after surgery on a fractured left fibula. The squad have three more training days before a Sunday rest, then resume on Monday to start final preparations for the derby at Arena Barueri.
