The men’s side claimed a second Supercopa after a tight final in the capital. Gabriel Paulista opened the scoring and Yuri Alberto added the second to seal the trophy.

At Emirates Stadium, Corinthians twice drew level in normal time through Gabi Zanotti and Vic Albuquerque to make it 2-2. The hosts then found a third in extra time, leaving the Brazilians as runners-up.

After the Supercopa win, Memphis reflected on adding another trophy with Corinthians. He said the club needs more experienced players to produce the consistency demanded by the Brasileirão.
