Corinthians face Ferroviária in the fourth round of the Paulista Feminino, their first outing since the 2026 World Cup pause.

According to Meu Timao, the Brabas have resumed strongly after recent calendar breaks.

Last season they endured almost a month without official action during the Copa América Feminina. In that window they contested the Teal Rising Cup in the United States, beating Chicago Stars 1-0 in the semi-final before a 2-1 defeat to Kansas City Current in the final.

Competitive play returned on three August with a 1-0 win over Palmeiras in the state competition at Estádio Alfredo Schürig, known as Fazendinha, sealed by Gabi Zanotti.

In 2024 the schedule paused for the Paris Olympics. On their return Corinthians defeated Realidade Jovem 4-0 in São José do Rio Preto, with second-half goals from Carol Nogueira, Fernanda, Ellen and Vic Albuquerque.

During the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, after nearly two months since overcoming São José in the Paulista, they came back on 21 August and beat Pinda 5-0 at the Fazendinha, with Yasmim, Tamires, Miriã, Isabela and Duda Sampaio on the scoresheet.

A positive result against Ferroviária could tighten the title race. With four points from three games, a win could move Corinthians second if São Paulo drop points.
