Warren Bondo is not a new name on the lips of the management and AC Milan could make a move for the midfielder as soon as January with the club needing to reinforce.
In the summer of 2021, reports suggested that Milan were looking at a right-winger from Ligue 2 for a fee of €2 million. A target for Geoffrey Moncada, whose infatuation for French talent has been seen regularly in recent years.
The deal for Bondo was never completed though, and now the midfielder has moved more central and has moved to Italy and more specifically Monza – a club where he is heavily appreciated.
However, he is appreciated elsewhere as well, notably by the Rossoneri, whose interest has never died, despite his move up the football tiers. With him doing well in a poor Monza side, there is a possibility that a move could be made in January.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), the French midfielder could be purchased in the January mercato for €10m – a deal which would help Monza buy a much-needed forward. So, a decision must be made by Milan about whether they are ready to ‘immediately invest’ in Bondo.
The midfielder would ‘gladly’ join the Rossoneri, who ‘have to reinforce’ in January, so the decision must be made by the management, given Bondo is available.
