Lens will have 1,000 supporters in the away end at Paris FC on Saturday at Stade Jean-Bouin.

According to L'Équipe, the Paris administrative court has suspended the police prefecture’s Tuesday order, issued after incidents before PSG v Lens on 14 September, which had cut the visitors’ allocation to 200 for the 21.05 kick-off.

Supporters and the club, through their legal counsel, brought the case to the Paris administrative court to defend their rights. The court ruled on Friday, the day before the game, cancelling the restriction.

The away section will now host 1,000, the usual number authorised for a Ligue 1 match. The State will also pay 1,500 euros to affected sang et or supporter groups.

While the visitors’ cap is 1,000, the total number of Lens fans spread around the ground will be significantly higher.
