CRB end Estrella loan early as midfielder returns to Vasco | OneFootball

CRB have ended Estrella's loan early, and the midfielder has returned to Vasco.

According to Globo.com, the deal, originally due to run until the end of the year, was terminated by mutual agreement. He is not currently in the plans of Renato Gaúcho's coaching staff, and Vasco are likely to seek another loan for the 21-year-old.

He has gone back to Rio de Janeiro to treat a left thigh injury and will not return to Maceió.

Estrella joined CRB in February. The loan was intended to give him minutes and experience in the competitive Série B, reflecting recent moves for Barros and JP.

He made 15 appearances for CRB, only three starts, with no goals and one assist. His progress in Vasco's senior side had been hindered by knee issues, and after a long recovery the problem has been fully resolved.
